Responsible AI Use
Our Journal recognizes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in research and scholarly writing.
AI use for autonomous content creation is not allowed. AI tools must not replace human scientific judgment, interpretation, or accountability. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of their work. AI systems cannot be listed as authors.
AI-generated images and videos are not permitted for publication. Limited exceptions may apply and authors are advised to contact the Editorial Office on a case-by-case basis.
Authors may use AI tools to support language editing, such as spelling and grammar correction or improvements in style and readibility. Use of AI for this purposes does not need to be declared.
Any use of AI in the preparation of a manuscript should be transparently disclosed at submission in the Methods section.
Reviewers who use AI tools in any capacity related to their review must disclose this to the Editorial Office. The Journal does not allow the use of AI systems during peer review due to the confidential nature of submitted manuscripts.
As part of technical editorial checks, the Journal may verify reference lists using AI-assisted tools. These checks are limited to bibliographic data already in the public domain and do not involve manuscript content or author-identifying information.
Our goal is to encourage innovation while safeguarding scientific integrity, transparency, and accountability.
