Srčani šum predstavlja auskultatorni fenomen koji nastaje zbog turbulentnog protoka krvi kroz srčane strukture ili krvne žile. Iako mnogi šumovi nisu patološki, njihova pojava može upućivati na različita srčana stanja, uključujući valvularne bolesti, prirođene srčane mane i kardiomiopatije. Ovaj članak analizira etiologiju srčanih šumova, dijagnostičke metode za njihovo otkrivanje i procjenu te klinički značaj za planiranje liječenja.
