In the Children's Hospital Zagreb, on 8 May 2025, the promotion of the university textbook ˝"Diagnostic procedures in pediatric pulmonology˝, edited by associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Pavić et al., published by Medicinska naklada. The textbook consists of a total of 14 chapters written by 10 authors from different centers, dealing in detail with functional lung diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics, microbiological and radiological diagnostic procedures in pulmonology, allergy diagnostics, bronchoscopy, the specifics of diagnosing tuberculosis, laryngopharyngeal reflux, primary ciliary dyskinesia and sleep disorders, as well as the peculiarities of genetic processing of pulmonary patients. The textbook also contains extensive appendices with reference intervals of important laboratory parameters. Based on contemporary recommendations and achievements of a rapidly changing profession, the textbook elaborates on the advantages, limitations, and interpretation of individual diagnostic procedures, important tools for every clinician entering the field of pediatric pulmonology.
