Utjecaj pušenja u trudnoći na trajanje dojenja

Sažetak

Cilj: Ispitati povezanost pušenja tijekom trudnoće s trajanjem isključivog i ukupnog dojenja.

Metode: Provedeno je presječno istraživanje 2025. godine na uzorku od 150 majki djece do dvije godine u Primorsko-goranskoj županiji. Podaci su prikupljeni putem anonimnog online upitnika, a analiza je uključivala deskriptivne i neparametrijske testove (Kruskal–Wallis, Dunn post hoc).

Rezultati: Majke koje su potpuno prestale pušiti tijekom trudnoće dojile su dulje (medijan 13 mjeseci) i dulje isključivo dojile (medijan 4 mjeseca) u usporedbi s majkama koje su samo smanjile broj cigareta (medijan 2 i 1 mjesec; p<0,05). Smanjenje broja cigareta bez potpunog prestanka nije imalo značajan pozitivan učinak na trajanje dojenja.

Zaključak: Potpuni prestanak pušenja tijekom trudnoće povezan je s duljim dojenjem, dok redukcija pušenja ne donosi korist. Rezultati upućuju na potrebu integriranih intervencija za prestanak pušenja i poticanje dojenja u prenatalnoj i postnatalnoj skrbi.
